Travelling out of state to do a course is daunting and can be expensive, especially accommodation. That is why CDA has worked with the local community in Beauty Point to provide accommodation that is affordable for diving students and dive supervisors.
The Dive house is $165 a week for any student on any ADAS Diving course and is located a short walk from the dive school, this accommodation is perfect for ADAS supervisors and ADAS part one, two and three students when at beauty point.
The accommodation is a bunk room style accommodation and includes, linen, beds, amenities, utilities, unlimited internet, heating, shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities.
Because of the teamwork requirements of Commercial Diving, it is considered a valuable part of the learning experience to also live as a team for the duration of the training, plus it is a great way to make life long friends whilst on course.
When you book onto any ADAS diving course at our school we are able to book you into this shared accommodation.
For the part three portion of the course the deep dives are conducted at Lake Cethana, near Sheffield. For this reason, we work with Gowrie Park a wilderness an adventure park to offer students accommodation for this portion of the course.
Students who are staying at the dive house, will not be charged for the dive house during this time.
Prices can vary but are usually $180 a week for a shared bunk bed or $200 for your own room. There is guest Laundry, camp kitchen and great scenery. Limited internet is provided and only Telstra mobile networks have consistent reception.
You will stay at Gowrie park for approximately two weeks. The dates at Gowrie park will be confirmed prior to part three starting.
It is not reccomended to stay at other accomodation providers during part three as the travelling distance and altitude change between lake Cethana and your accomodation may not be suitable.
