Participants must have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet and email access. Mobile phones or tablets are not compatible with the online training portion of this course. As an assessment requirement of the HLTAID009 unit, participants must be able to perform at least 2 minutes (5 cycles) of CPR on an adult resuscitation manikin that is placed on the floor.

The course meets the requirements of AS 2815.1 – Scuba Diving to 30 metres and AS 2815.6 – Restricted Occupational Scuba Diver.

Successful completion of this course results in the following Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification: Certificate IV in Hyperbaric Operations (Surface-supplied diving to 30m). (National Qualification Code 11006NAT, awarded by Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme (ADAS), Registered Training Organization (RTO) Number 88104).
