Onshore Diving

Our onshore diving qualifications give you the skills and knowledge to enter the workforce as a fully qualified diver using SCUBA or SSBA.

CDA offers the ADAS Part 1 and ADAS Part 2 qualifications in Tasmania, as well as ADAS Part 1 and ADAS Part 1 (Restricted) at Orpheus Island.

Our courses at Orpheus Island are specifically designed for underwater scientists, whereas courses in Tasmania have a greater focus on commercial and underwater construction tasks.

Offshore Diving

CDA is the only commercial dive school in Australia to offshore offshore diving qualifications.

Build on your onshore qualification with Part 3 (which you can attend straight after our ADAS Part 2 course) if you aspire to be a fully qualified offshore diver.  Gain some experience as a Part 3 diver and then return for our acclaimed Part 4 Closed Bell course – the only place in the world you can attend this training. The Part 4 (Closed Bell) training program is designed for experienced divers seeking to work in extreme underwater environments. Our course covers complex dive planning, life support systems, and emergency procedures. Ideal for those aiming to work in offshore oil and gas, underwater construction, and deep-sea exploration.
